As of March 1, 2018, a new Youth Protection Training course has been instituted by BSA.  ALL LEADERS MUST TAKE THIS NEW COURSE BY OCTOBER 1, 2018, regardless of when they last completed YPT.  

To complete this new course sign in to my.Scouting.org and under the training tab access YPT.


*REMEMBER: Your Youth Protection Training expires EVERY 2 YEARS!  You must renew your Youth Protection Training EVERY 2 YEARS!  How often MUST each leader be Youth Protection Trained?  (EVERY 2 YEARS!) Click on any of the above blue words to link to Cub Scout Leader training page, where you will find Youth Protection Training at your online convenience, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Did you know that you are allowed to get training in other councils and districts? 
 It's true. Yes, it's still recognized by the National BSA.  Some councils have specialties in one area and others in other areas.  (Just like how other councils come to our council's Boy Scout Merit Badge Pow Wow at BYU/UVU.)  It really is okay.  Below are upcoming trainings for our neighboring council, Greater Salt Lake Council.  Go to the training tab on the left side of the home page.
